"Great Value Tours"

We really enjoyed our outing to Osta Antica and our highlights of Rome tour, too. Ostia Antica was much more meaningful with the guidance of Michele. As with James, on our first Eternal City tour, he spent more time with us than we expected and was a wonderfully informed guide. With our group of four, the private tours have been wonderful -- we could go at our own pace and explore our own interests. Great value for the fee.

Our family (two adults and three young kids) had three fantastic tours with Eternal City Tours. Tom was great to work with to set up the tours. Our tour guides were James, Natalie and Paul. All three of them were VERY knowledgeable and and entertained us and the kids perfectly. The attention/information/entertainment we got absolutely made our trip fantastic. After the tours they also gave us great local advice on places to eat. After you see all of the people on poor tours you realize how great these tours are. Could not recommend Eternal City Tours more and especially James, Natalie and Paul.

I and my wife, along with another couple had the pleasure of having Paul as our tour guide. Neither couple had ever visited Rome before; therefore, we left it up to Paul to choose the most interesting sites. To our surprise, Paul treated us to two amazing days, touring almost every historical site in Rome. His in-depth knowledge of Roman history concerning the sites we toured was impressive.
Paul is American born, raised and educated, and he speaks fluent Italian, this coupled with his pleasant and easy going personality made him a joy to listen to. We were truly lucky to get such a wonderful tour guide.

We've been with Etearnal City Education now on our 3rd tour in 3 years. The tours - specifically with Paul - are the most inspiring we ever had in any part of the world. He brings ancient and medieval papal Rome to life with amazing intensitiy and color. Thanks once more, Paul!
